Printbed not reaching 100C

Hi I have had my pre assembled printer for about a month now and have been doing a little bit of printing.

Now suddenly my printbed does not heat up as fast. I get frequent Bed preheat errors and the printbed does not reach temperatures higher than 95c
without help and if I help the heat up by insulating the surface of the build plate the heater do not manage to hold the temperature and abort the print after a few minutes.

This makes it impossible to do ABS prints with recommended settings.

Printer sits in a room with 23C and has no fans or mechanical ventilation and there has been no problems before to print in this room with this printer.

Printer is i Power mode.

Anyone who has experienced this and can give me pointers of what is wrong. and how to get it fixed.

A few things to check.

1) Make sure the bed thermistor is properly attached to the underside of the bed. Since you are not measuring the bed temperature, but rather that thermistor which is attached to the bed, if it is loose, it will think it is cooler than it actually is.

2) People have found that the supplied voltage from the PSU can be marginal to maintain 100C in some situations (how cold is your room?), so they have reported success by increasing that voltage by adjusting a potentiometer on the PSU to 12.5V which alleviates this issue. Make sure you have a volt meter and turn it slowly.

If none of the above seems to work, take a look at the heat bed connection on the rambo board and see if the black connector is melted on one side or the other. Mine did this, and the common fix is to ditch the connector and solder the connections directly to the back of the board. But try the others first since this is the most labor intensive step.
