Print lifting (warping?) on MK2S with Prusa PLA

Tried everything I found on this forum and starting to get very clueless about it.

Have redone all calibrations countless of times, always printing on a clean surface (cleaned with isopropanol), redone the first layer calibration over and over again and tried to tweak it with live z-adjustments. I have done some large 1 layer prints and tried to do some minor bed level adjustments as well.

In software I've tried to rise the bed temperature for the first layer, decrease the speed, make sure the fan is not on for the first couple of layers and never at 100% (The lifting always occurs in the front, and I thought it might be the fan). The shape and size of the object doesn't matter, happens 100% of the times, even if it is way less on smaller print

The first layer sticks just fine, and it is after maybe 5-8 layers the lifting occurs.

The printer is located in the basement (15° C, but tried with roughly the same results at more normal temperatures.

Provided some images as references.

Would very much appreciate some input on what could be wrong or tweaks I could try out. 🙂 Thanks!

Can we see some photos of the first layer?

Try cleaning with acetone. That helps a lot.

Also check your live Z with a solid square, per the "Life adjust Z my way" thread.

Any advices given are offered in good faith. It is your responsibility to ensure that by following my advice you do not suffer or cause injury, damage or loss. If you solve your problem, please post the solution…

Thanks for the tip about "Life adjust Z my way" thread!
Did a bunch of them and you were right, I had to lower it even more. (ended up with -340, started with -265)
(Attaching the results)

Did a cleaning with acetone as well and after that my model managed to come out all right!
Will try some more prints tomorrow but this is looking very promising 🙂

Thanks!

Do I understand this correctly, you have one half of your calibration square with -400 and the other with -350 z-calibration distance or did you do the whole print with -400 and this is a bent printbed?

Cheers,
Markus

He used Live Z adjust to change it as the print progressed. He is trying to fine tune the Z. It was written down on the square so he could compare it to others he did and not forget what the setting was.

Hope That Answers the Question,

Neal
