Possible bug: slow resuming print after moving axis

My printer prints much slower after resuming a print after it has been paused and i have moved the axis a bit (to prevent remaining plastic falling on the print or to swap filament).

Sometimes it even doesnt extrude plastic anymore after resuming, thus the print failed.

Also sometimes it works again after a while (starts to print extremely slow and then goes normal speed again).

Anyone else have this?

Yes. If it didn't take me 3 hours on and off to compose this post I might have actually noticed yours.

I also moved the axis. And then unloaded filament, left it overnight, loaded filament and resumed print. Same symptom as you describe, tho my extrusion seemed fine. I found a thread here that described the same symptoms, not that I know what it means.

For me, the print resumed to normal speed after it finished the current move it was printing (and it was a loooong one), and it had an added benefit that with the slow speed, it easily melted the extra filament that oozed on the print... That's why I said I don't know if it's a bug or a feature 🙂 .

I did this before with a print the size of about 26x6mm, but I suppose I didn't notice it because it was a short move before reading the next command.
