Original i3 MK2 suddenly seems in slow motion

Hi,

Today I noticed the printer suddenly very sluggish like if it was in slow motion. It seems to print fine but everything seems like it's in slow motion?
I don't think I have changed any settings in Slic3r nor in the printer but is there a possibility there is a general speed setting somewhere or maybe the power supply is failing (but with steppers I don't think that should affect speed like on a servo for example).

TIA,
Alex

Check the display if there is still 100% showing.
If yes and it's still very slow, I can recommend to contact the PR live support.

Exactly where? When at rest? when printing?

Thanks!

I think nikolai means when printing, look at the speed setting.

Also, with a situation like yours I would perform a firmware reset before doing anything else.

I have noticed sometimes that a slower speed is retained on my second print (set from my first), rather than defaulting to 100%. I haven't bothered to look into this any further, but assume it's a firmware bug somewhere.

Could be. I was printing some Flex before that which prints at a lower speed, but I have since then power cycled the printer.
I will do the firmware reset and follow up...
