Yes, that's the wipe tower. Maximum of 3 changes per layer.
And BTW, it turned out exceptionally well. You should order the upgrade before the queue gets too long (and maybe the price goes up?).
FWIW most wipe towers on the models I have printed so far is heavier than the model. To me that is not important; to others it may be.

Re: New MK2 : Tree Frog curling
Hi,
Same kind of issue with overhang.
With 200 µm layer, print result is fine. But as soon I reduce layer thickness (100µm or 50µm), surface appearence become rough.
I tried with very low speed (5mm/s) for external perimeter, low temperature (190°C for prusa PLA), 100% fan speed, but unfortunatelly without any success.
On the left 200µm layer thickness, on the right 100µm. Except the legs, overhang surface looks quite fine with 200µm, but not with 100µm.
What is wrong ? What could be the solution ?
With file supplied on SD card, result is similar as 100µm layers (not good 😥 ).

Re: New MK2 : Tree Frog curling
did you slice all 3 with the same slicer?
Did you use the slic3r prusa presets?
I'm asking, because some settings can have an effect on those overhangs, but I'm not confident enough to tell you what to fix it.
maybe someone else has more expeience with that?
Re: New MK2 : Tree Frog curling
Less layer height is always prone to curling. Nothing much to do about. I printed some frogs in different sizes and usually they don't fail.
This is PETG! https://goo.gl/photos/cXCqyxB7pNCMP78k6 smaller frogs also done with smaller layer heights.

Hello,
I use slic3r Prusa edition.

Re: New MK2 : Tree Frog curling
I have the same bahaviour with the overhangs on different prints. Trying to print the frog directly from SC with 0.05mm to compare with you.
The leg started to curl as you have on the photos.
I set the speed down to 90% and decreased the nozzle temperature to 200°C. It continues much better since that time.

Re: New MK2 : Tree Frog curling
Made a new test yesterday with a bigger frog. This time I used ABS instead of PLA.
I have same issue with 100µ layer thickness.
Hotend temperature : 245° (supplier specification = 240 to 280°C)
I tried with very low speed
Colling fan at 75% (Usually not recommended for ABS)
Global aspect is looks great including legs, but result is still rough on the neck overhang area.
What can I do to improve this ?
