Need help: extruder motor not feeding filament
Hi,
I just have finished assemble the mk2s yesterday, and have everything calibrated just fine. Everything seems to working ok and I have successfully print the simple batman logo.
On my second print, the printer working fine in the beginning, but it just stop extrude filament after printing for 1:30 hour (here is what it's look like
). I then stop the print. I have checked and find nothing unusual (filament roll is still full and can roll normally with normal friction).
I then, unload filament, and try to load again. But now I have problem is the extruder is not feeding filament normally. In order to make the motor rotate to feed filament normally, I need to help manually pushing filament. (here is the clip . I tried to adjust (both tighten/loosen) extruder idler screw, but it's not help.
Do appreciate if anyone can suggest or help on this

first check if your stepper motor is still "wired successfully" with the rambo board.
unplug its connector at the rambo and check with a multimeter the two phases (you should get a low resistance between a pair of 2 pins).
if you can find only one pair of pins with a low resistance... and the remaining pair has a high resistance, either the wire is broken somewhere (maybe because you've squeezed it during the assembly) or the connector is badly attached (crimped) at the wires.

A few things to check.
1) You might have the tension too tight. The screws should stick out 14mm without filament inside. Too tight will cause jams and stop filament from extruding.
2) Is your heat break fan running? If it does not cool the heartbreak you will get a filament jam. Bad wiring (possibly at specific Z values if intermittent) can cause this.
3) Is your temperature stable? Too low will not extrude?
Did you reset the printer and get it flowing again? You may need to clear a clog to get it running again.
