Mk 2 extrusion (?) problems

Simple question - why my prints are so ugly? I thought Mk 2 is gonna be an upgrade but I've never seen something so bad from my Mk 1 -.-. Any ideas how I can fix it?

Oh and 1 more thing - I can see extruder has problems keeping proper temperature. if I set it for example as 215 it goes all the way to 217 and drops to 211, then the whole thing starts again. What's up with that?

Ok so it looks like loose Y-axis belt was responsible for this ugly texture. Newbie mistake :P.

Extruder PID parameters don't fit your setup. I guess your PSU gives more voltage than on original MK2. Extruder heating element has more power and PID regulation overshoots.
Run hotend PID tuning procedure: M303 S210 C10
When it finishes, it prints new calculated PID values fitting your setup. Set them using M301 H1 Pxx Ixx Dxx, allow HE to cool down and try new parameters by heating up to 210. If it works, store them in eeprom or use the same M301 command in starting gcode sequence before HE temperature commands.

I have no idea what you just said but thanks :P. Sadly my prints continue to look like shit so I hope I can fix it soon...

Calibrate the extrusion.

Insert a light coloured filament and make a mark 110mm from the top of the extruder body.

Feed 100mm of material (G1 E100 F120) and measure the distance from the top of the extruder body to the mark.

Should be 10 mm, but I think you will find it is less.
