Guys

I have tried finding this information, but did not get a proper response. the Prusa support is not giving a definite answer either

what is the maximum temperature on the Prusa i3 MK2. I know it has a e3d hotend. but is it all metal if not, how far can I push it ?

Re: Maximum print temperature

In general, 300C with supplied thermistor.

400C with thermocouple

Re: Maximum print temperature

Actually the printer is limited in firmware to 305 degrees. But that really is pushing the thermistor.

Probably best not to exceed 295 without swapping out the thermistor and changing firmware.
