Loose belt in bed undercarriage

Hi - I've just received the new assembled Mk2 (assembled because I am an absolute new with 3D printing, etc.). All looks great and is ready, except that the belt on the undercarriage of the bed must've come loose during shipping.

So I've figured out that I need to wrap it around the metal gears, but can't seem to get it to tighten. Apologies for the absolute idiot question - how do I tighten the belt?

Figured out my problem. The 3D printed guard on the undercarriage broke in shipping - found the little piece that snapped off in the box. Thinking of trying Krazy Glue to see if it will hold up long enough to print a new one?

I'm not sure it will withstand belt tension.

Where are you located? If you are in the US maybe I can just send you a replacement part plastic part. 🙂

Since it was a fully assembeld printer, be sure to take a photo, and post it here. Then, do a live chat with Prusa Research, and point them at the thread here with the photo. They should send you a replacement part.

Thanks - not in the US, sadly, but greatly appreciate the offer!

And thanks to for the advice to post a picture. I sent a note through to the team and they suggested that acetone glue would hold it. I'll be making the replacement part my first test part to be sure, but we'll see. I've glued it and it seems quite sturdy, actually.
