LCD stays blank on power up
Hello everyone. I completed the build of my i3 MK2 but I am having trouble. My LCD panel stays blank when the power is turned on. I have confirmed the positions of all connections multiple times. The voltage switch is correct for my supply (110v in Canada). I tried disconnecting everything from the RAMBo except for the power inputs and the two ribbons coming from the LCD but it still stays blank. I do see a green LED in both the power supply and the RAMBo board when the power is turned on. The three fuses are confirmed to be good.
Does anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting this? I posted here hoping that someone has seen this problem before. Thanks in advance for any replies

The red stripe on the cables do not go to the 1 pin on the RAMBo. Make sure these are correct and it will most likely fix your problem.

Blank LCD at startup of my new I3 MK2 kit : it was only a contact failure in Rambo side of the LCD cables.
Until i solve that , i only had USB connexion (software update OK !!) and the 2 Z axis motors powered... and nothing more !
Now , all seem fine.
