LCD Screen doesn't work!
I've tried to switch the cables and checked everything I could, but the LCD screen doesn't work. The first time it worked, but when I try to turn it on again it doesn't. What can I do? Can I use the printer without the LCD screen?
Re: LCD Screen doesn't work!
Hello Oscar!
If you are sure that the LCD cables are attached as per instructions in the manual (the are marked and only one of the cables is supposed to fit in one place), then I would check the fuses with a multimeter to see if they are ok. Measure also the power rails from the PSU to see that the Rambo gets power.
After that I would disconnect every wire in the Rambo box and just let the power from the PSU stay connected. Then connect LCD and the other wires one by one and confirm that the printer fires up when power switched on after every connected wire. Then you may find if any of the connected parts are faulty.
I think it will be a pain to use the printer without a LCD - you have to calibrate it before using it for printing.

Re: LCD Screen doesn't work!
Hey, Thank you for the help
I did all of the things you told me to do and replaced all the fuses. After all, the screen lit up once but didn't have any text, and the rest of the time it was off, but whenever I would press a button on the screen it would make a very high pitched noise. Should I consider replacing the screen, and how would I do that. The PSU, and Rambo work I check everything with the multimeter. Can you help me again?
Thank you so much,
Oscar
Re: LCD Screen doesn't work!
The high pitched noise usually means the LCD is plug in wrong. At least that's what happened to me and from some googling. I think take a picture and post it here to see if it's plug in correctly?

It works now thank you!
