LCD powers up when moving carriage
So I'm near the end of my build and I assume I should stop and triple check all the wiring as my LCD is flickering on (it's not plugged in!) when I move the X to begin the PINDA check . I assume this should not be the case?
Re: LCD powers up when moving carriage
It's OK
mine does it too
I think the stepper motor just powers it up when you move the carriage fast.
It generates a little power for a second.
move the carriage slow and it doesn't happen

Thanks for the quick reply! I might add that circumstance to the online instructions.

I have a CTC Bizer and it does the same thing... Electric motors. Send it power, it moves. Move it manually, it makes power.
