Knocking over finished parts

I've recently run into a small issue where after the printer has finished a part and it moves to home it ends up knocking over the finished parts on the way, or leaving a noticeable scar where the nozzle has dragged across the top surface. I'm using simplify 3D and it only recently started occurring. It isn't a big issue but definitely one I want to fix.

Re: Knocking over finished parts

you could add
===========================
G91 ; use relative coordinates
G1 Z2 F5000 ; lift nozzle by 2mm
===========================
G28 X0 ; home X axis
in the Gcode before the homing command.
No idea how to that in the different slicers and if they provide script functionalities....

If you are using S3D you could use the fff. profile provided here https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk2-f23/simplify3d-print-settings-august-30-2016--t938-s310.html#p60401
There is the lift already implemented including lifting the head to total 100mm at the end which
is for easy nozzle cleaning and has positive effect on the temp of the pinda probe..

Ok I can add that into the end g-code but it seems strange that it only recently started to happen even though I haven't changed anything in the end g-code of the profile I've been using.

Could be a worn nozzle with a bit of overextrusion as result and then uneven surface.
