Heated bed screw holders
I think I've damaged the screw holders at the front of the heated bed as the m3 bolts now longer hold in place.
Does anyone know the name for this item or where I could find replacements?
Here's a picture with the part circled in red.
Thanks
David
Re: Heated bed screw holders
❓ i don't know if they can be replaced at all. did you only damage the lower threads that'll be reached by the screws (M3x8r) ?
but there is a little bit of "reserve" of threads inside the bolt. so you can try to use a longer screw with one or two washers and a counter nut.
but this will only work for the front screws... bigger/longer heads at the rear screws would interfere with the frame:
💡 and another hint: there should be no threads inside the y-carriage ! sometimes the holes are a little bit tight and the coating of the carriage adds another few 1/10 mm so you might think there are some. and if there is a slight tolerance in their position, you can really squeeze or drag your print bed when trying to screw through them into the bolts -> which may cause a skewed printbed surface.
dem inscheniör is' nix zu schwör...

they can be replaced they are just m3 standoffs both end female...

I have ordered the standoffs and replace them but after that when I try to calibrate my nozzle crashes to the bed. Cause the printer still thniks that the z height is the same.
The standoffs that you adviced are 10mm standoffs which should be 5mm.
So how can I adjust the z height -5mm?
Can someone help me with that?
Thanks
Re: Heated bed screw holders
How about to buy the standoffs which are 5 mm in length?
