Heatbed Temp Drop
Hi,
I have finished upgrading to the MK2 and have my system calibrated. V2 calibration runs smoothly and all has been going relatively well until I have started some test prints. Whenever I am printing a 20mm cube the bed temperature starts ok at 100C (printing ABS) but after the first couple of layers the bed temperature drops to 87C , even though it shows 100C at the temperature set on the LCD display. The temperature drop then warps the corners on the print and leads to layer splitting.
Does anyone know the reason for this temperature drop? I have never experienced this issue with my printer prior to the upgrade and I am running my printer in a pretty warm room (ambient temperature with printer running is about 28C with little in the way of a draft).
Appreciate any input.
Thanks,
Gordon
