Heatbed registers 30 degrees warmer than setting
Hi:
I just purchased an Original i3 MK2S and have been printing for a few weeks. I've recently had many prints fail to stick to the bed so I upped the temp (I'm printing on PLA, I've been setting the bed to 72 degrees to get the smaller prints to stick).
With my IR thermometer, the center of the bed registers as high as 105. Is that normal?

Check on the sensor below the bed. It is just held in place with sticky tape. Maybe it came loose. But even if. Even 70 degrees are way to high for PLA.
Although having the material flowing on the bed as liquid may solve adhesion problems, good prints they will never be.
I would suggest to follow the instructions and material guides here https://www.prusa3d.com/support/
There is all you will need to initially calibrate your printer, nozzle height and so on.
