Flexifil TPC keeps lifting in corners

So I thought I'd give some flexible filament a try and went for this http://www.formfutura.com/formfutura-175mm-flexifil-black.html

Has anyone else tried this filament?

I can not get it to stick in the corners though, it prints fine.

Any thought on how I can improve the adhesion? I tried glue stick but that didn't help and I always clean the bed with IPA.

Thanks

Did you find some working parameters?
I'm doing many tests. All failed for now buy I'm still going on the issue.

Hi,

I increased the temp to 110 and had to add a brim, that seemed to work for me. Ideally I'd like to print without a brim so it doesn't need to be trimed after.

The plastic did print find though and the end result was really good.

Re: Flexifil TPC keeps lifting in corners

My latest settings gave me something for that part:

I still got warp but this time the part stayed on the plate and the printing finished but the adhesion of the part was very very low. Before the part went away and a lot of extrusion in the air. The base is 5mm high.
My settings:
- 3Dlac on bed and IPA to clean before.
- Bed 100°C
- Nozzle: 220°C
- Overextrusion: 1.05
- 10 to 20 mm/s
- live adjust Z increased by 0.05mm to what I found a perfect live adjust Z ( http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-i3-kit-building-calibrating-first-print-main-f6/life-adjust-z-my-way-t2981.html )

Will try brim and 110°C for the first layer.

If it's a small part I would print 2 or 3 of the same item, this will give the parts time to cool before the next layer. I only clean my bed with ipa.

Re: Flexifil TPC keeps lifting in corners

Thanx for the tip but I won't qualify the part as small. The warp happens at the end of the base printed. It is 90mm outter diameter and the minimum time to print for layers of base is 170s (when printing with 20% infill).
It is my first experience with flex filament and I read they use to adhere too much to the bed. People having isuues removing the part from the bed... But indeed not that one on PEI. 🙁 I also tried Dimafix and glue stick without success.
What speed did you go?

Re: Flexifil TPC keeps lifting in corners

Yep brim is one important key to success. Still printing but no warp ar all for the base that is finished. The printer begin the upper cylinder.
Moreover I realized there was already a print profile in Slic3r that I didn't use "0.20mm SemiFlex or Flexfill98A".
- I think I was too slow for "Top solid infill". With percentage value entered, I was under 5mm/s.
- For "massive" areas, you would need less material to avoid warp. I was 3 vertical shells against 2 and 20% infill against 10%.
