First layer Issue Prusa i3MK2S
Good morning Guys,
I´ve got a problem with my first layer.
It worked fine for approx. three month but now I´m getting some issues with the first layer.
The filament (i use PETG - PrimaSelect) is not printed very well. It´s getting warped (or it looks like its getting so) and is very bad looking.
Please see the attached pictures.
Slicer is the Slic3r Prusa edition.
Do you have any ideas where to look at?
Best regards
Michael
Re: First layer Issue Prusa i3MK2S
might it be that your p.i.n.d.a. has been slightly dislocated in height ?
this can happen, if the probe hits a part of the print.
have a look at the pinda holder (extruder cover) if the probe is really fixed (you shouldn't be able to move it by hand). maybe you need to reassemble the pinda while wrapping a layer of duct tape around the probes body.
furthermore you need to dial in the live z adjustment.
ah, and another point to mention: do you (try to) use the temperature correction for the probe ? there's an option inside the calibration menu... and I recommend to switch it OFF (because at least such a temperature compensation could only work if you know the exact temperature of the pinda... which you don't).
dem inscheniör is' nix zu schwör...
Re: First layer Issue Prusa i3MK2S
Hi Jeff,
Thank you very much!
I adjusted live-Z and now my first layer is as good as it was before.
P.i.n.d.a was fine.
The temp. correct. was also set off.
Many thanks and best regards!
Michael
