First failure, and the blob from hell
I had seen other posts about the filament blob from hell and I hoped I never wound up with one. Well, the blob has arrived. 😥
I was printing this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1366605 and I discovered it could really use a raft since it turned loose from the bed after about 6 layers or so. I was asleep so I did not discover it until I had the model handing from the extruder head along with a blob.
Fortunately I have a precision heat gun for surface mount soldering. But, I would guess I should remove the E3D print head BEFORE applying heat??? Seams I could damage printer parts if I do not.
Thanks. 😥 😥
Re: First failure, and the blob from hell
Hopefully your PINDA survived the failure. Be extra careful not to damage the probe while you exhume the extruder from its molten prison.
