Firmware Update Issue
Just tried to update to the latest firmware 3.0.10 and I get this error on one computer 1:

To date I havent had one issue updating from this computer. So I tried a second computer and that computer 2 cant even see COM4. Both printers show up as 'rambo' in device manager. Computer 1 cannot connect with Pronterface while Computer 2 can which is odd seeing as how the firmware updater cant see COM4. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Maybe you are selecting the wrong COM number on the Firmware updater. You can check the right COM port on Windows:
Control Panel -> System -> Hardware Manager -> Ports (COM/LPT)
Choice the "Prusa" port number.

Let me guess,
You installed the RC, and now when you are attempting to update to the official firmware release your receiving those error messages?
This appears to be a bug in the release candidate....
I found an old forum post where someone was experiencing the same issue with 3.0.9, and they got around it by using Firmware Updater V1......
However, I just contacted support and he had no idea which firmware package contains Firmware Updater V1.....
Does anyone know which firmware package it is in? Or even better a link to just the firmware updater v1? That would be greatly appreciated.

I will update to newest firmware 3.0.11, but the updater crashes while uploading the firmware 😮
Now it's not possible to update the firmware anymore 😥

I powered down all devices, my windows-PC too, and start from scratch. Update works perfect.

I'm having the same issue myself related to the Firmware Updater v2. I've tried uninstalling different versions of the Prusa software, even attempted the original Firmware Updater back in 1.6.1. I keep getting the following error:

I've verified the COM6 port is the active port in the device manager assigned to the printer. Even Pronterface sees COM6 as the printer but can't connect due to access denied.

[ERROR] Could not connect to COM6 at baudrate 115200:
Serial error: could not open port COM6: [Error 5] Access is denied.
My printer still prints from the SD card but I can't update the firmware to 3.0.11. Any ideas what to try next?

Really sure the printer uses COM6 ?
Go to the Devicemanager and search for COM-ports. Is there Prusa.... listed ?
