Filament Thins Out

After going through the bed check the MK2 lays the practice bead. The bead is perfect. Then it moves to the print and the flow becomes less. If you print it's like going from a 12 lb test line to a 2 lb test line. Big difference.

I raised it up and hit Load Filament just to see the flow. It started off great then after a couple seconds it thinned out considerably again. I switched filament and got the same results.

Previously I took the nozzle off and thoroughly cleaned it out with acetone followed up with heat. It's clean. So I'm at a loss as to what's causing the thinning out of the filament. Any suggestions? Thanks

Are the extruder springs tightened according to the manual? Maybe the filament is slipping.

That is ok. Its exactly as intended. Fast feed while loading the filament until it gets down to the nozzle. As for the purge line, the name says all. It purges the nozzle. With that mass what is extruded while loading or the purge line you would never get a decent print at all.
