Hey guys .... been having a blast with the mk2 I got just after Xmas ... put about 30 hours printing so far through her with the first exercise print coming out glorious. .. printed a huge mass of small trinkets a day tests and all came out okay. .. ( there batman was my first ever print )

So decided to try something a bit bigger and I keep getting this " shark skin" unevenness in long infills ... One print even curled in one corner of the print

Bed is 60 first 55 after hot end 215 first layer 210 after ...

Bed is cleaned between with 95%IPA

So when this started I recalibrated and also adjusted my pinda ( Was way high (-1.4 off but it worked) now down to -300mm for now ..,

Slowing first layer to 70% with no fan seemed to help but I just wanted to check with someone else who knows more just in case it's something I missed ..

Not 100% sure. But it looks like your nozzle is a bit too low. I've had prints where this happened. find a big flat base print, and watch for any dragging or wrinkles in the first layer. Slow the print down if you need to. When you see them, raise the live z up a little at a time until they stop.

You are looking to get a clean even layer, with no irregular grooves or wrinkles. The first layer doesn't need to be smooshed into the bed, just squashed down a little. It's easy to get it wrong when you are trying hard to get a good first layer.

If it happens later on the top layer, it might be over extrusion. drop the flow a little to see if that helps.

First layer slow with no fan is correct. A little hotter bed and nozzle is also good. Helps with sticking.

I agree that the z offset is too low. Could you upload a photo of the calibration print?

sorry guys been ill as heck, but still been tweaking, got it a lil better though i have seen some nozzle drag, raise the z slightly, but the get curl in support material, so its mostly working
