Fail and wins
I hope this will help some other people when they start using the machine...
Failure:
1st and only so far: The wires for the material cooling fan failed, the positive got severed somewhere near the back of the holder. That's after running it non stop for about a week.
Notes:
- X limit switch may not always be reachable, the lower wires, thermistor and heater need to be very neatly installed or the computer case will be just enough to keep the carriage from reaching the X limit.
- Pre-thread the small screws before trying to attach the limit switches, they are very tight !
- Make sure the rear cable bundle doesn't hang low enough to touch the build plate...
I am happy, and the local kids are too.

Next note:
If you reinsert the SD card it is better to reset the whole controller. If you don't some files in the SD card show up garbled.

How do you control that?
I just finished calibration and first test prints from the GCode samples last night. They looked great.
I noticed the cable bundle coming from the extruder dragging on the bed during the XYZ calibration. I worry that a large print from front to rear will cause problems. Perhaps another tie-wrap near the top of the electronics box to hold the cable up higher?

Reorient the 3mm nylon filament in the bundle so that it naturally holds the cables up.

A new issue creeping up after near constant print (about a month) 270 hours of print... ( 8 spools of PLA so far and 1/2 of PTEG and finished a bunch of rests too)
- The X belt is squealing on the idler lip then the carriage is close to the idler, the edge of the belt is getting shiny.. I tried to adjust the screws pre tension of the X axis rods but it's not helping, I may have to back the belts a little on the carriage... I'll try this when I finish work.

My solution to this works on my printer, it is to use Cable Chains instead of the nylon filament to keep the wire bundle off of the bed.
and an 8 inch (200mm) or greater caliper is recommended.
