Extruder Jumping

I am still getting problems with the extruder jumping at certain stages of prints and can not figure what it is. I have been in contact with prusa also but have not found a solution ether.

Tooth gear seams to be in good condition
tied 1 old and two new nozels and all do the same
Cleaned and cold pulled the hot end
filament extrudes coiling up nicely when loaded.
happens with booth pet and pla booth new prusa filament
Only happens some times during a print on certain layers or when doing one particular type of path it does not happen the hole time.
In the print in the picture the first layer goes down fine but second layer has the problem

Has anyone had this problem before? solutions?
many thanks

Re: Extruder Jumping

I just noticed If you look at the shaft of the extruder stepper motor you can also see it do the little jump.

Yeah that little jump in your stepper motor seems to clearly be the problem. Wether or not the whole stepper motor needs replacing I don't know, but it seems clear that's what's causing the gaps in your printed bed!

yes, I thought I would try it on high power mode but that doesn't make any difference, I guess like you say it the motor or something on the electric side.
