Extruder blob to the extreme.... PLEASE HELP

So this just happened..... I'm not even sure where to begin or how to explain so I am posting pictures. I was printing two roses, they appeared to be sticking to the bed, so I left the house to run some errands. Apparently they lifted and combined? Either way they have now become part of the printer? I have tried heating to 285 there is no removing this blob, it has even deformed part of the printer. Any advice?

Been there, done that.

I ordered a new kit E3D v6 kit and replaced all mine with a new printed extruder housing (mine was damaged with the blob). Unfortunately I had not printed my own replacement parts yet, so I had to order an extruder body from a fellow on ebay for $8 (his part was crap, but it worked long enough for me to print a proper one.. so not so crappy).

I have worked on removing the plastic on the original one with a surface mount solder heat gun and most of it is removed. But, I have not had the time to get it all because you must be careful not to damage the heater or thermistor wires. It is a rather tedious task getting it all off carefully.

If you are a bit psycho, grab a cutoff wheel and a dremel and keep knocking off chunks till you get to something reasonable that will melt enough to remove once heated. Its a pain and takes patience, but works.
