Calibration Fail

When doing a Z level test it worked for the first 5 points then on the 6th and 7th point it pushes down heavily on the bed. This is with the sensor about as low as it can go. When I have the sensor where it should be it does this for all of the testing points. Ive watched the setup video and still cannot fix this issue.

Re: Calibration Fail

It sounds like your PINDA sensor is too high. It is triggering at the first points, but not the last few. It should be approx 0.6mm higher than the tip of the nozzle (about the thickness of a credit card).

Try these steps:

If that does not help, please comment back here and we can see what we can figure out.

It works so far, but it keeps saying the distance between he nozzle and the bed is not set yet. How would i go about doing that?

Steps 3-5 set that value.

When you run the V2 calibration code that came with the machine, or the V4 Calibration file from the link, it executes a code command to clear that warning. The printer sets that warning when you do an XYZ cal since that zeros the Live Adjust Z value. The printer doesn't know you have or have not fixed that, it just knows you have not cleared the flag which either of those .gcode files will do.
