Bronzefill
The pre-configured slic3r settings for bronzefill are working well at 0.2 layer height but don't at 0.1. It clogs around the nozzle and fails to stick to the bed - even with glue stick applied.
The material is capable of printing at that resolution and I wondered what tips you could give me for adjusting the settings so it can print at 0.1. Lower print speed? Adjust flow rate? Any help greatly appreciated.
Re: Bronzefill
Hi Joe
I print Bronzefill with a line width the same as the nozzle diameter (0.4mm) and quite slowly with slower retract speeds. At 0.1mm layers, 40mm/sec should work.

Re: Bronzefill
Thanks Peter! I'm new to printing so is that 40 mms for all the elements - solid layers, infill etc?
What retract speed should I use?

I really can only advise what works for me; you may find a different solution. The most important think here I think is the line width. Then the speed - 40mm/s maximum, with perimeters slower, maybe 30mm/s. Retraction speed - try at 10 to 15mm/s initially.
Bronzefill does not like too much pressure, hence slow and gentle. It can be difficult and is still "experimental" and is therefore not ideal for those new to 3D printing.
