Bed Thermistor
I got the MINTEMP error on the bed and when I checked the RAMBO connection it was fine. When I flipped the printer over and looked the bottom of the bed, the thermistor had pulled completely free from the tape and was all the way back to the board connection. I tried to just slip it back in and press the tape down again, but still get the MINTEMP error. What do I need to do to fix this and get back to printing?

0what temperature does the bed thermistor show compared to the unheated extruder
if the heatbed shows something like 11centigrade when the extruder is say 20 centigrade, then your bed thermistor is probably faulty.
open circuit thermistor usually shows about 11C.... It may simply need the connector reseating....
if the bed and extruder both show the same temperature, about room temperature, what ever that is around you,
say 20 C it should be Ok,
if room temp is say15C or below, then you are below the safety temperature in rambo firmware, try heating things up with a hair drier( bed and extruder}, or turn the heating on.... once above 15C everything should be ok

Hey Joan thanks for the reply. The bed temp says it is 13*C. Which is what it said when the thermistor was unconnected too.

if the cold extruder shows above 15c then it looks like your bed thermistor is open circuit.
you meght be able to find the break and repair, but long term a replacement is better!

I know it was an open circuit, I found the themistor no longer attached to the bed. I'm really looking for the best way to reattach it, because apparently just sticking it back under the same tape didn't seem to work.
Do I need to use new tape, if so what kinds of tape is it? How do I arrange the thermistor, it seemed to be sort of looped originally. If it is better off being replaced, the same information would still be useful in addition to what is the part number for the thermistor, or at the very list a reference place where I can go look all this information up.

I used Aluminium tape to get mine back. Still works after a couple of month's.
