bed temp issue

Doing a print with PETG. Used the Prusa profile that has the bed heating to 85, then to 90 for the rest on the layers. Bed heated to 85 no problem, then went to 90. Then dropped to about 75+-1 or 2 degrees and holds steady there.

Any ideas?

Re: bed temp issue

So it appears that I have a loose connection on the back of the heated bed. How hard are these to repair?

Basically a loose or faulty connection could be repaired easily for it is either directly where there wires are
soldered to the bed or a broken wire which too could just be soldered again.

I your case with the temperature just dropping and stabilizing kind of I would guess that the thermistor
which is fastened beneath the bed with just some sticky tape maybe came loose and is not reading the temp correctly, anymore....
