Anyone ever run in to this issue

So It seems min printer from time to time is losing its zero or something. It seems to only happen on long prints (+15 hours)

Anyone know how I cant fix this?

I am running the latest driver on the printer (Mk2) and using Prusa Slic3r

Looks like Layer shifting to me?

Are you printing in Silent mode or High Power Mode?

I am currently running in silent. Should I try high power?

Yes, use High Power mode, instead of Silent; it changes the torque properties of your machine's steppers.

Assembled MK2.

I haven't gotten back to it yet to investigate but I have had that happen only twice ... to the same print. It happened and so I reprinted and it did the same thing. These were two simple whistles, not big at all. I have to go back and try again while I watch to see if it happens yet again. If so then I suspect a firmware bug triggered by something in the gcode.

I use Simplyfy 3D across all my 3D printers and get great results. Even in quiet mode on my Original Mk2 Prusa I3 3D printer. (overnight prints)
I speak as I find and am independent.

Lubricate your bearings on the guide rods. Mine was doing it and it took me a while before i happened to see it bind up.
