Amazon UK filaments
What's the best filament brand on Amazon UK?
I normally buy hatchbox pla but they don't seem to have any in stock. I tried prima but that seemed rubbish to me.
What is everyone using?
Re: Amazon UK filaments
Ok, what temps are you using?
Thanks
Re: Amazon UK filaments
Give "Real Filament " a go on Amazon UK.
I've used the PETG and the PLA and it's a lot better than the price suggests.
I'm a repeat buyer so that must tell you something.
Re: Amazon UK filaments
I've used Rigid.Ink PLA, have to say it doesn't seem to be as good as the Prusa PLA the printer came with.
The texture a feel doesn't seem to be as nice, not sure if it is a settings issue.
Also I've had blocked nozzles with each spool I've used, I've used 3. I think once I've finished the spools that I've got currently I will look for something else. Customer service wise they are very good.
I'm tempted with E3D's spoolworks

Re: Amazon UK filaments
For PLA i have been using filaprint never really had any issues, and free delivery if you order 2 spools, and its next day too.. (ukmail ftw) http://shop.3dfilaprint.com/175mm-346-c.asp not a big fan of ABS so cannot comment on it.
on my 9th spool with no problems
Re: Amazon UK filaments
I picked up a roll of 3d Solutech PLA from amazon recently and have found it almost shockingly good so far.
Not quite printed enough variety of things with it to fully make up my mind, but initial impression is very good.
Re: Amazon UK filaments
I've used rigid ink's ABS (in fact, I printed all my MK2 parts in it) and it prints well. But is it better than cheaper filaments? not sure.
For PLA, my go-to at the moment is 3D Prima - many colours are in their primavalue range and it's good stuff, about £19 a roll.
