Adjusting live Z?

When adjusting live Z what value change means closer to the bed vs. further from the bed?
If I am at -.240 and move it to -.250 is that moving it away from the bed?

Re: Adjusting live Z?

The value represents nozzle height. So more negative value means "go down".

Ok, so just to clarify, -.25 is closer to the bed than -.24?

Yes, it is very easy to get it wrong. Then the "bed level corrections" add another level of complexity. And I don't think it is properly explained anywhere.
