3D software for children to start with

So ive ordered a MK2S. Ive never done any 3d printing or even knew what it really was about until 1 month ago when i started looking into it.

Im not sure what 3d software is out there and how they work, but id like to get my 6 to 8 year old kids into playing around with 3d software at the same time that i start learning the software side of things too.

Is there any recommendations for a software platform that can cater to young children and that will also be easy for me to learn/use at the same?

Also is there any printing software that kids can easily use with minimal supervision or would this be something that requires better underatanding of by myself?

TL:DR
Im a beginer to 3d printing. Ordered a MK2S.
Any 3d software for children around 7 to use and also any simple 3d printing software?

You can try online Sketchup.com or Tinkercad.com. My 8 years old son is using 123D Design without knowing English. But sure he is using basic geometric shapes.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Tried tinkercad and it looks perfect for kids to use. Just what i was after.

Downloaded sketchup but not yet used it.

Hello Tiago. I used Sketchup from the start, free version, and really liked the way it worked. Very simple in the way it builds up objects, and how it ads/deducts from shapes. It really appealed to me. Also you can get the pro version real cheap if you are a student 😉 approx GBP 39 instead of approx GBP 600....

Does Sketchup still produce terrible non-manifold meshes? It was so bad that at one point I stopped using it and actively recommending that people avoid it. Tinkercad is great for both kids and adults to start. Onshape is decent if you have a little bit of experience.
