3.0.8 Firmware auto calbaration damaging print table!!!

Hi I have a Prusa i3 MK2, and upgraded to version 3.0.8 of the firmware.
It has a nasty bug in the Auto calibration, where if it's miss's the Magnetic sensor it keep lowing the head as it moving back and forth
into the table, damaging the table !
Could you please fix this ? IE change to, check home position, move to new position look for Magnetic sensor, but don't go lower below home
level, step back up to start height, then go back and forth to find tune position, and step lower, but don't go below home, or new found height
of Magnetic sensor

If you just upgraded why did you go to 3.0.8 and not the latest 3.0.9?

Also, I would check the height of your PINDA probe. I had a similar issue and it was from the probe being too high.

Yes, I readjusted the probe, only took 0.2mm. but I think the software should be a little more careful. As it finds the home position every time.
and most of the time the others.
