MM Benchy Hull is disapearing (17 STL version)
So I downloaded the famous benchy (17 STL version - Thingyverse) with a multi material print in mind. When I load the files into slicer prusa ed/prusa control, the top of the hull vanishes, but the bottom of the hull can be seen still. I suspected the stl to be the error, however cura processes the same file correctly. Any insight why prusa slic3r does this would be helpful. Id like to print one of these in more than 2 colors.

There are many issues with the multi-part Benchy.
I managed to get a fixed version via MakePrintable.com but that fixed file will not work with Slic3r as that slicer requires individual files for extruder selection. KISS on the other hand allows extruders to be assigned to meshes, of which there are 22 in the attached file.

Is there any setting I need to make in order to get the filament to retract far enough when switching extruders? Im running 3 extruders on the 22 mesh benchy with kisslicer. Extruders are responding but the speeds are far off (will adjust for next print). I am using kisslicer presets (PJR) downloaded from forum which contains machine settings for MK2, but not MM. Ive tried to dial it in for the MK2-MM but was looking for some insight.

There are 2 printer profiles in the download, a standard Mk2/s and Mk2/s with MMU. ("Prusa i3 Mk2-S MM Quad") which is the printer you need to select.

Do I need different config files?
On a side note, I learned how to directly edit gcode with Notepad++ after reviewing other topics on this forum. Super stoked to learn more and get this MM screamin.

Those are really old profiles before I upgraded to MM (11 months ago).
Did you get them from the link on the KISS site?

Slic3r allows you to load a single STL and then to split them. Once split, you may assign the extruders.
