Mac driver or firmware update not working

I recently upgraded my MK2S with the multimaterial components. I updated the Mac driver to 2.0.0 and the firmware to 3.1.0. When I ran the firmware updater V2.1b application. the displayed message indicated the "Firmware updated successfully!" using the 1.75mm MK2-MultiMaterial-RAMBo13a-E3Dv6full.hex file and serial port /dev/tty.usbmodem1411. While running the update only a partial display is showing on the LCD ("Origi"). After the update, the LCD flashes a partial message "Origina", then "Original Pr" and then the full message "Original Prusa 3D Printers"; this string of messages cycles repeatedly until I power down the printer. While the LCD is flashing the messages, I can hear a clicking coming from the RAMBO.

I have tried this several times now, and I cannot get the printer to do anything at this point except for the series of messages described above. Regarding the driver, once the .zip file is downloaded and clicked, the file expands. I am not doing anything more to "install" new drivers.

Any help with getting my Prusa printer back up and running with the MMU would be greater appreciated!
