Issue with hotend temp

Hi, I have had my MM upgrade for about 2 weeks and it has been working fine but today today it started acting strange, I don't know if it me or something with the printer.

The issue is that the filament stated to jam, so I checked everything on it and it all works fine till you start to print then it jams again regardless of what extruder I use or material.
I have taken it a part about 3 times now to check everything from the wire to the motors, plugs on the board and everything seems fine.
I re-flashed the firmware to make sure it was working correctly along with changing it from high-powered to low and back to high to see if either mode made a difference which it didn't.

I tried running some PLA through it manually buy pulling one of the PTFE tubes off the MM on top of the hotend and I notices it was very difficult to push it though the nozzle even after I took the MM Y Splitter off and going straight to the hotend.
I even put a new nozzle on it to be sure and the hotend is the new one that came with the MM upgrade.

I check the temp on the screen and it shows 215/215 which is normal for PLA and it doesn't seem loose temp, so I turned the temp up to 225/225 and it seems to have fixed the issue with the filament not wanting to go through ans I have printed several things with it sense with no issue.
side note the printer seems a bit quieter too which it was pretty quiet to begin with at least for me.

I am wondering if maybe the sensor on the hotend is not right or if I am missing something?
any help on this would be appreciated
