Issue with 1st layer

Hello, I need to request some assistance. I've attempted to create a card holder box for a board game via tinkercad. When I've attempted to print the multi-part model (logo & box), the first layer (or few layers) seems to shift on the y axis during printing. If I attempt a box with a single material, there is no shift. The model was sliced with PrusaControl and having loaded the gcode in a few applications to look at it, I do not see any shift in those.

Any suggestions on what steps I may take to correct this?

Re: Issue with 1st layer

Just guessing (hard to tell from the photos), but I would check the Y belt to make sure it is set well. It is possible that the big move to go to the cleaning tower causes a few missed steps on the belt causing that shift. You seem to only have it when it jumps to the purge tower.

I assume you are not using "quiet mode" which could also do this.

IF that does not work, watch closely during that first layer, and see if you can see where it is catching on something (cable bundle is nice and high?) causing the shift.

Any advices given are offered in good faith. It is your responsibility to ensure that by following my advice you do not suffer or cause injury, damage or loss. If you solve your problem, please post the solution…
