Idea for less wasted material in purge block? Maybe?
What if the printer could use the inside of the 3D print to start purging. All you really care about is the color on the outside of the model in most cases so inside supports could be used to start the purge process and take up some of purge. It would not take all of the purge but it could help lessen the percentage of the waste.

sounds good but I it will require the Slicer software to have a algorithm for it which I dont know any that do.
