Help can not get anything to print with the MMU

I upgraded the MK2/S that I assembled and had been printing with for months to the MMU and have for weeks been unable to get anything including the MM calibration to print. The printer will load all the filaments in the correct order. When it tries to print the V2MMCalibration_PLA.gcode I will sometimes get the priming line across the front of the bed but not always and then nothing when it goes to print. I have also tried to print some of the other MM files that Prusa provided with no success. I have been working with Prusa support and they feel it is a wiring issue. I have pulled it apart at least 10 times and still have the same problem. I have attached pictures of the cable going from the stepper switch board to the upper row of 2x5 pins since it is the only cable that can be connected wrong.
I am also able to load filament 1 and then go to the settings/move axis/extruder and I am able to get a good flow of filament from the print head. This makes me think that the path from the stepper to the Y splitter to the print head is good. I did shorten the PTFE tube a small amount because it was very hard to attach the Y splitter with the orginal length of PTFE tube.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated I am ready to remove the MMU and go back to the MK2/S that was working very well.

Re: Help can not get anything to print with the MMU

OK, so do the following:

Unload all filaments.

Heat the extruder to 170 degrees.
From the menu go to "Change Extruder" and select extruder 1.
From the menu, select "Settings/Move Axis/Extruder"
Move the extruder in both directions and check the drive pulley to ensure it is moving as expected.
Repeat for extruder 2, 3 and 4.

Once you have confirmed that all the motors are working normally, load filament in extruder 1 and print the MM calibration g-code file.

Post your results.

Peter,

I did a preheat for PLA and then started with extruder 1 I used a piece of filament and as I increased the number it would pull filament in and as I decreased the number it would push the filament out. Same on all 4 extruders.

Great, so we know that your wiring is correct and that all extruders are working.

Now, please load filament into extruder 1 only and print the MM calibration g-code.

Peter,

Tried to print the V2MM calibration and still see the problem. After the bed leveling I will get the line across the front of the bed that I think is to prime the extruder. That line is not always solid but I do usually get parts of it. When it goes to print the calibration I get a very faint line. Feels like I may have a feed issue. I am using a new roll of silver pla from Prusa. I am printing at the default 215C.

Peter,

You nailed it I think the Z height was too low I am printing currently with extruder 1. Thank you very much for the help.
