Firmware 3.0.12 Final question - Difference between MK2-MM and MK2?

I extracted the zip file and see both a MK2 and MK2-MultiMaterial folder. Can the MK2-MultiMaterial driver be used with the MK2 printer? I ask because I am planning on installing MM soon but currently it's just plain MK2s.

Yes, but there really are too many differences, so the best answer is no.

Ok, so one one may keep the 3.0.11 driver while installing MM, and only when finished should the new 3.0.12 MM driver be installed.

That really is the best idea.

Hi,
if you have MK2(S) then please use all drivers, settings and firmware for MK2(s). As soon as you upgrade to Multi Material, you have to upgrade firmware and use different settings. However, trying to somehow combine those two together might cause unexpected behaviour.
