Best upgrade path

I currently own a MK2S. I wish to upgrade to a MK2.5 and get the latest MM. I see the upgrade option to 2.5 in the store, but what is the best way to get the latest MM? The description for the MK3 MM doesn't mention if it will work with MK2.5.

Do I need to purchase the MM for 2/S ( https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/printer-upgrades/118-original-prusa-i3-mk2s-multi-material-upgrade-kit.html ) and then upgrade right away to the MK3 MM ( https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/printer-upgrades/185-multi-material-upgrade-kit-from-mk2-to-mk25mk3.html )

Or can I jump directly to the MK3 MM ( https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/printer-upgrades/183-original-prusa-i3-mk3-multi-material-upgrade-kit.html )

Hi,

for me it is not clear what you get with the 'MK3 MMU kit' check https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3-f30/mk3-multi-material-t6193-s20.html#p44756

At this moment i would go for the' MK2 MMU kit' 329€ + 'MMUpgrade kit - from MK2 to MK2.5/MK3' 59€ even it is more expensive than the 'MK3 MMU kit' 349€.

These two cost 39€ more BUT i get:
- an extra E3D V6 full with multimaterial heatbreak (worth ~80€) where i can be sure it works with the MK2s / MK3 MMU
- one extra Bondtech gear (worth ~50€)

Maybe the MK3 has an E3D V6 full with multimaterial heatbreak as standard and doesn't need extra E3D V6 hotend.

Then you should as a MK2/s owner consider to buy the 'MK2 MMU kit' + 'MMUpgrade kit - from MK2 to MK2.5/MK3' otherwise your MK2/s E3D v6 may have problems with the MK3 MMU kit.
