"avoid crossing perimeters" Jams up Slic3r while saving gcode file
I love to use the "avoid crossing perimeters" option because it seems like when I don't it tends to get strings in all the wrong places making the printed part sometimes very hard to work with. However, in Slic3r with the mmu upgrade, when I enable that feature, the slicer slices the part still fairly quickly, but when I select the "save gcode" button, the progress bar gets to about 80% then just sits there and I never can get a gcode file out of it. Before the MMU, this feature seemed to work just fine, but for some reason I cannot use it anymore. Any ideas how to fix this? Am I just being stupid with the way I am using the software? Any help is appreciated 🙂
