Running V2 calibration on other extruders

Is there an easy way to edit the V2calibration.gcode file to move from extruder 1 to extruder 4? I tried using Notepad to edit the file, but that wasn't working for me.

I want to edit the file to run on extruder 4 as I have found that extruder to be much more reliable than extruder 1. I need to calibrate again as I recently crashed during a print job and melted PLA all over the hot end. Got it cleaned up but the melted PLA then wiped out the wires to the thermistor. Fixed that, then the PLA got into the set screw threads etc.

Thanks

Jamie

Re: Running V2 calibration on other extruders

Hi, the way I do it when I want to use a certain extruder on the calibration.

I use the "First Layer Calibration" that is built into the printer menu.
If you are running the firmware 3.1.0 or above then it should be under the Calibration Menu. its the same as the .gcode just built in.
It is going to select Extruder 1 but as soon as it starts doing the 9 point bed calibration bring up the menu and go to "Change Extruder" and select the one you want then go back to the main menu, It should run the test with the one you selected.
This may also work with the .gcode file but I have not tested it with that.

If there is a better way I don't know it so maybe someone else does or you can contact Prusa.
