bleeding of colors solution
Hello
i have some experience with a lot of multicolor 3d prints an think i have got a simple solution fot some of the prints.
Use the infill as wipetower . It does not work with pointy objects but i print a lot of landscapes and big prints and then it should work. The only problem i have is that i do not know how to set this up.
For pointy prints u can use a wipe area for the highest layers.
The only problem i have is that i do not know how to set this up.
Does anyone have suggestions?
Greetings
Richard
Re: bleeding of colors solution
Well I have recently been printing with PR Metallic Green, Fillamentum Ruby Red and a bright yellow (from local manufacturer) without any bleed (when set up correctly).
Problem is you need to print perimeters before the infill. And with transparent/translucent filaments, you can't use infill for the waste.
If you are not aware, I do not use Slic3r; the purge tower for that is not really very customisable.
KISS allows me to vary the purge per filament and even print with variable layer height (from 0.07 to 0.32mm layers) in multi-colour.
