Upgrade Parts to MK3s - PET want stick on Print bed

Hello!

I bought the upgrade kit for the MK2 to MK3s.
Now I have to print the parts myself

The problem is that the first layer just doesn't want to stick.

I tried blue tape, glue stick and much more.
Anyone have any idea what else I could try?

thanks

Count yourself lucky. Half the time PETG sticks to PEI like superglue and you destroy the bed trying to get the parts off.

But, when PETG doesn't stick, a good soap and water wash gets the job done (no alcohol or acetone).   Keep hands and fingers clear of the bed (no touching the print surface).  After washing, print something small as a test to make sure you don't jump from no adhesion to superglue conditions.

If happy with the small part, proceed to the larger parts.  If the small part is really stuck, before printing the larger parts spray some Windex on the sheet and wipe it around and let it dry to act as a release agent.

If PETG parts stick too well, let the bed cool and stick the sheet with parts in the freezer for a few minutes. It should help them release.

+1 to this. If I have trouble with sticking to PEI, I use a little bit of alcohol, but that almost always ends up making it too sticky. The freezer trick has helped bail me out a couple of times.

Thanks for you tips

i clean the surface now with a disinfection spray (20% Isopropanol) and it works very well

I still have to print the bigger parts. I hope that works
