Calibration issues
I have a i3 MK2 printer which assembled and have successfully used for the past 2 years. I have encountered and solved many of the most common issues from first layer to layer shift to nozzle replacement and thermistor replacement just using google these forums and persistence.
I have now encountered the dreaded calibration issue and am at a complete loss.
Brief backstory I left a long print to print over night. The print was narrow and did not adhere throughout the print and ended up with a keel on one end that eventually bobbed into the print head and caused a layer shift and resulting birds nest in the morning. Had it happen before with no real issues. I found nothing out of order and hot end was a bit of a mess but easy enough to clean up. Went to reprint same piece and the printer would not pass the initial bed leveling and gave me an error Bed leveling failed Sensor didn't trigger Debris on Nozzle
So I began troubleshooting on Google/Reddit/Prusa/Etc and tried pretty much every suggestion. Adjust PINDA probe, System reset, Update Firmware. It seems like the more I worked with it the worse it got. Specifically when running calibration; Auto home CHECK, Self Test CHECK, Calibrate XYZ Runs the whole test but ultimately says FAILED CONSULT MANUAL. It was grabbing the piece of paper and I stopped it but after the 20 or 30th time it stopped doing that but is making the bumping noise when the bed travels to its front and back limits it seems to find its sweet spot and stop but it never did that before that I can remember. When I run the bed leveling calibration it goes fine for 1-4 but crashes the bed on 5 and 6 and then is fine on 7,8 and 9. From the process of elimination I feel like either there is a wire short in the bundle or the bearings are shot but have not been successful in making that determination.
Any suggestion, tips, tricks much appreciated!
