Printing With TPU

Anyone know if I have to reduce the filament tension on my extruder to print with TPU? I have the Prusa I3 MK2s and the filament just keeps kicking out the side it does not seem to want to continue throughout the print. The only thing I can think of is that my extruder roller is flattening out the filament and is kicking it out because it bends as it is goes through the print head nozzle. (I am using Spool 3D TPU)

Thanks for any help in advance!

Jeff

VERY Low tension. Just so that the wheel barely grips the filament. 20mm/sec max Speed. No or very slow retract.

Thanks for the advice I will give it a try! One other question can I do this in Prusa control or am I better to use slicer prusa edition? Not really familiar with it but I can check it out. I know you can't change the settings in prusa control so I guess that would be the best program for my Prusa!
