Print nGen FLEX on PEI Questions?
Hi all,
Going to print a larger part using nGen FLEX. They recommend BuildTak as the surface to use but I am not going to change out the MK2 PEI for that.
Anyone using this on PEI? I print a lot of PETG on my PEI bed and no issues.
I have printed Hatchbox TPU on the PEI and it stuck pretty good.
Looking for any user experiences with the nGen FLEX material on PEI!
The stuff is a bit pricey so I can't experiment too much!

i had great luck print TPU with a PEI build plate and a gluestick coating, nice adhesion and easy seperation

For flex filament I use talcum powder. Then it's easier take out the objects.

Ahh, I forgot about that trick!
I am hoping my issue with nGen FLEX will be too much adhesion rather than not enough!
I just finished a bunch of PETG printing so the bed may be good and ready for FLEX.

If your TPU/TPE does stick too well.
Drip some IPA on the cold build plate, let it sit for a short while, then the model should release more easily!

Thanks. I am more concerned about it warping or curling at the edges. Colorfab recommends a BuildTak surface but that is not practical for me.
This material is expensive and the part is going to be ~300g and a 30 hour print so failure will be costly!!
I assume the idea is for the IPA to get under the edges of the print? I'll keep this in mind, thank you.
