Getting "Bed preheat error" and "Bed thermal runaway"

Hi,
I installed a Noctua fan for the hotend ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2076234 ). Then I went through the calibration process. My first prints of the calibration surface 75x75 (long thread in this forum) worked without any problem. Today I tried to print the Eiffel-Tower ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:912478 ). First I got a "Bed Preheat Error". I switched off the printer, waited a few seconds and started it again. This time I did not get the error, it started printing but after about 30% the printer stopped and I saw the Thermal Runaway message.
Anything I might have done incorrectly?
Thanks.

Edit: Just trying to print again. Bed preheat error showed up again. Switched off the printer, switched it on again. But instead of a rock-steady 60° that I am used to, the temperature fluctuated between 56 and 58 and now even down to 52 to 56.
And now even just 49°.
42°. Stopped the print.

Symptomatic of a broken thermistor cable. If you use Settings | Temperature to start heating the bed and the temperature varies when you move the cable bundle from side to side/up and down, then that will confirm it. Either find the break and repair it or install a new thermistor.

Hi Bill,
Thank you for your fast reply.
I followed your advice and noticed that the red light went off after I pulled the bed forward about 10cm.
Same diagnosis I assume?

Mangkhut hopefully not in your area?!

Edit: When I jiggled the cables I was under the impression that it might be the 12v cable. I replaced it and the problem has been fixed. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
